For accompanying clients to international destinations (in South America or elsewhere) I typically charge U$345,00 p/ day + airfare, visa-costs, meals, and accommodation. Cruise-ship trips along South American coasts; Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, Argentina, Central America ... I know all as few do. I have vast experience traveling, know how to deal with local's particularities; I've been known to quite effortlessly "undo knots"; and - well, it helps when one speaks the local versions of Spanish and Portuguese, etc., fluently.
