These tours are executed in an air-conditioned car, with up to 3 passengers.

                    If required de Luxe vans for up to 12 passengers, or even busses, can be  provided.

Here are tours I offer to the marvelous state of Minas Gerais. No big cities (we merely pass by Belo Horizonte, the capital of said state)! They include overnights in the most charming towns - jewels of their own - of the mountainous state where once the mines replenished the thirsty coffers of Lisbon with gold and gems. The region is until today home to the famous, and unique, 'Imperial Topaz', offered here at bargains.

Also, the art of António Francisco Lisboa or "Aleijadinho" (1738–1814), the leading practitioner of Baroque and Rococo in Brazil, abounds here.        

The drives are almost exclusively along the "Estrada Real", formally a caravan road, by means of which the produce of the mines was transported to the ports of Rio and/or Paraty. - Click on highlighted links below:

One tour is a  3 days / 2 nights  -; the other a  5 days / 4 nights  - trip.

Prices here include me and my transport, local guide(s), overnights. Meals, drinks, tips, etc. are not included.
